Unga exists to help film and audiovisual professionals across Africa become easier to discover, evaluate and contact. The platform starts with Uganda and is designed to expand toward Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The African screen industry is rich with talent, places, crews, companies and projects, but the information is often fragmented. Unga gives that ecosystem a clear digital structure: who works in the industry, what they have made, where productions can shoot and how professional connections can begin.

This V1 focuses on visibility, discovery and listing requests. Real-time messaging, payments and deeper verification workflows can be added after the foundation is validated with users.
